Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have proved again that they are the Jai-Veeru of Bollywood. Reportedly, on Aamir Khan’s request, Salman Khan has decided to postpone the release of his film Ek Tha Tiger.
Well, Ek Tha Tiger was scheduled to release on June 12, 2012. However, Aamir Khan, too, wanted his next film being directed by Reema Kagti to release on the same date. He thus requested Salman Khan to shift the release date of Ek Tha Tiger. And considering the bond both the Khans share, Sallu immediately talked to Aditya Chopra and they both decided to change the release date of Ek Tha Tiger to Eid 2012.
Earlier, too, Aamir Khan changed the release date of his film. Initially, his next was scheduled to release on 26th January. But since he felt that post production stage will require some more time, he decided to change the date. Karan Johar had filled in the empty slot by announcing that his production Agneepath will release on 26th of January, 2012!
Anyhow, Ek Tha Tiger is being directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Aditya Chopra. Other than Salman Khan, the film stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role. The film is currently being shot in Dublin.
And going by Salman Khan’s past record and his box office connection with Eid, looks like we already have a blockbuster on our platter. What say?
