Initial thing that instantly comes to your mind after seeing well-known singer Sukhwinder Singh deliver his first view as an actor in this acting debut movie of his is that acting is just not his cup of tea and the flick onwards is going to be one torture ride having to tolerate him as the main character of the movie.

Rishi (Sukhwinder Singh), a straightforward and truthful musician, is forced by the city people to go out his home town and shift to Mumbai. Rish loves Alpna (Shreya).

In Mumbai, Rishi meets two other boys Javed Khan (Vikrum Kumar) and Shani (Rufy Khan) who have also come to Mumbai seeking their fate. Mutually, they understand that all of them share same fervor for movies.

They think that an optimistic thought can alter the course of life. If a person is able to overcome the personal egotistic needs, he can bring a change is what they have confidence in.

With piece of good fortune, they do start their movie. They meet Roza (Khuahhish) and Pappu Halva (Mustaque Khan) and with her backing their plans start falling in place. But, fortune has intended something else. There is terror and loss.

Rishi is overcome with sorrow and disenchant. Will he pick the correct path? Will Rishi and his friends manage to attain their objective? Will Rishi be able to alter the thoughts of law and outlaws? Does disenchant wait for Rishi at the end of the journey? You get all your queries cleared if you manage to stay aware till the end.

Debutante director Jagbir Dahiya's 'Kuchh Kariye' tries hard to cope with the existing socio political situation and tries to include certain current and related issues. But in spite of such good purposes, the movie falls flat on its face mainly because of its unskilled direction, inadvertently comicalacting by Sukhwinder Singh and a puzzling screenplay, which keeps jumping genres.

Sukhwinder Singh should comprehend he is not Salman Khan by going shirtless many times! Shriya is fine though especially in emotional scenes. Rest all is contending with one another as to who shall irritate you the most!

Kuchh Kariya is apt for you if you are looking for relief and want to have a good sleep in the cool comforts of an air conditioned theatre in this sweltering heat.
