Lootera is an upcoming 2013 Bollywood romantic film directed and co-produced by Vikramaditya Motwane and starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. The film is a co-production between Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms and Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Madhu Mantena & Vikramaditya Motwane's production house Phantom. The movie is partly inspired by American author O Henry’s short story The Last Leaf. The film will hit the theatres on 1st March 2013.

Four prominant directors from Bollywood came together to form a director’s production company- Phantom Productions. Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena together announced their first movie LOOTERA starring Ranvir Singh and Sonakshi Sinha.
